Lyrics:

[C] Jenny’s in the [F] Cornfield
The
[G] Zombies are closin [C] in
[C] Preacher’s in the [F] preach house
Tellin’
[G] everyone not to sin
[C] Jake is on the [F] edge of town
All
[G] hell has broken [C] loose
And Jenny’s in the
[F] Cornfield like a [G]cock-gobblin’ goose
It’s the
[C] last [F] night on [G7] earth
The
[C] last [F] night on [G7] earth
And
[F] Jenny’s in the [G] cornfield
[F] Jenny’s in the [G] cornfield
[F] Jenny’s in the [G] cornfield with [C] me

A small town in Pennsyltucky
Lots of zombies running free
Just an hour or two ago Jenny never woulda talked to me
But zombies tend to change some things and now I’m all she’s got
But Jake is on the edge of town and Jenny thinks he’s hot

I was baggin’ up some cans of beans at the local grocery store
A meteor hit in the parking lot and pretty soon we all knew for sure
Zombies came from everywhere a fear inside of me rose
And I was runnin’ like my senile grandma’s garden hose

It’s the last night on earth
The last night on earth
And Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield with me

Well the people gathered in the church in the palm of the preachers hand
He told them that it was their sins that brought the zombies to the land
The people wailed and gnashed their teeth in repentence of their sins
The preacher said it would be all right if they all just followed him
Jake had just rolled into town he knew just what to do
Had a blowtorch and some gasoline turned zombies into goo
Found a cigarette on a zombies corpse he regarded with a scowl
Found a shotgun in a farmer’s truck and now Jake is on the prowl

It’s the last night on earth
The last night on earth
And Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield with me

I ran out to the edge of town took shelter in the corn
Found Jenny with her head bent down looking quite forlorn
I told her I’d protect her she told me to turn around
But a couple dozen zombies had followed me from town
The zombies had us cornered and I thought that we were dead
But Jake stormed in like a hurricane and pumped em full of lead
But a shotgun really ain’t no match for a hungry zombie hoard
They tore poor Jake limb from limb and bashed his brains in like a goard

It’s the last night on earth
The last night on earth
And Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield with me

Poor Jake was torn asunder and I had to make my stand
I bravely rose up to my feet and took Jenny by the hand
I never really had considered myself to be a man of means
But as the zombie staggered in I started throwin’ beans
The zombies kept on comin’ but not a one of them crossed the line
One by one they bit the dust and Jenny was all mine
But just as I thought I was gonna get my a piece of ass
Through the corn came a mobbin’ – the preacher and his mass

It’s the last night on earth
The last night on earth
And Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield with me

Oh the preacher was self righteous he said Jenny was a whore
The people thumped their bibles let the accusation soar
No one seemed to notice for the shouting it was so loud
But a hungry hoard of zombies descended on the crowd
Well there was somethin’ funny in the air that took a hold of me
And the fleshy curves of Jenny’s frame was all that I could see
I ate Jenny in the corn that night, to satiate my need
Who thought that when our lips first met
It would be so I could feed?

It’s the last night on earth
The last night on earth
And Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield
Jenny’s in the cornfield with me
